Zig-Zag Blossom Card

Materials :

  • Wausau Paper® Creative Collection™ Metallics®: Sparkling Merlot™ 65 lb. Cardstock
  • Wausau Paper® Creative Collection™ Classics: Royal Blue, Snow Pea, and Bright White 65 lb. Cardstock
  • Wausau Paper® Creative Collection™ Textures: Eclipse Black™ 65 lb. Cardstock
  • Sentiment Stamp
  • White Ink Die cut blossoms and leaves
  • Blue Button 18” wired
  • Purple ribbon Bone Folder

 

Instructions:
  1. Royal Blue Classics cardstock 4” x 12” score at 4” and 8”, fold to center creating three panels
  2. Unfold card and score top left corner to lower right corner on first panel
  3. On third panel score top right corner to lower left corner
  4. Mountain fold on score lines
  5. Close card – Zig-Zag Card completed
  6. Cut Bright White Cardstock 3-3/4” square in half diagonally, glue one to each front
  7. Cut Sparkling Merlot Cardstock 3-1/2” square in half diagonally, glue to Bright White Cardstock
  8. With White Ink stamp sentiment around the Sparkling Merlot square
  9. Cut 1-3/4” Bright White square, glue to 2” square of Royal Blue
  10. Layer 3-3/4” Eclipse Black cardstock to inside center panel
  11. Cut 3-1/2” Bright White cardstock square glue to Eclipse Black layer
  12. Cut two Snow Pea leaves and glue to small square
  13. Fold up petals on three Sparkling Merlot blossoms and glue to small square
  14. Glue Blue Button to center of flower
  15. Glue ribbon to the back of the 2” square, leave a 6” tail of ribbon extending on the right side of the square
  16. Glue 2” square to left front of closed card only – allowing the card to open easily
  17. Tie ribbon in bow at the right side of the card
