Bring your vacation scrapbook to life with these simple tips!
Family vacations tend to be a very popular summer scrapbooking topic. Summer is the season when families have more time to plan and take vacations. Below are some suggestions to help in creating your very own vacation scrapbook!
-
Keep all maps from the trip.
-
Take a notebook along with you to jot down some information about the photos you are taking. This will trigger your memory once you return home.
-
Collect postcards and brochures from the place(s) you are visiting.
- If you have children, give them a disposable camera to use on vacation. Their photos will make a great addition to your scrapbook.
-
If you will be in the same location for a few days, consider developing your photos at a one hour photo processing business. As you look through them, journal anything that comes to mind that might be a nice addition to your scrapbook.
-
Go to the visitor’s center in the city or cities you are visiting and pick up any information that could be included in your scrapbook.
-
If you will be gone for a long period of time, consider bringing some basic scrapping supplies with you. With one hour photo developing and basic supplies, you might be able to return home with some pages already complete!
